Helgenberger is also known as the character K.C. She won the Emmy Award in 1990 for Outstanding Supporting Actress in the Drama Series, in recognition of her performance in the role of Koloski on China Beach, an ABC show China Beach from 1988 to 1991. Also, she has role in the TV show Under the Dome and Intelligence and in the film Species (1995) Species II (1998) Erin Brockovich (2000) and Mr. Brooks (2007). She is one of four children. McCain graduated from the Phoenix Country Day School as in addition to Xavier College Preparatory, a private Catholic all-girls high school. In 2007, she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Art History from Columbia University. In 2017, she was a co-host of the daytime show The View, which she as host from 2021 to 2021.
