Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez (born Sara Ramirez) is an Mexican American musician and popular actress. Sara Ramirez was raised by an American mother, and encountered a number of racial slurs, which led her to feel unwelcome. When she was in 9th grade she felt more confident when she was applauded by her teachers for her performance at school's audition. The singer not only gained confidence through the audition and gained experience, but also changed her the direction of her career. She was a graduate of the New York's Julliard School at the age of 22. In 1993, she made her Broadway debut with Paul Simon's The Capeman. Her first film was titled You've got Mail. But her biggest break came when she appeared in the part of The Lady of The Lake in the original Broadway show Spamalot winning not just an award called the Tony Award for her performance but also a flurry of praise from critics. The following year she was cast in the role of the character Dr. Callie Torres in ABC's Grey's Anatomy. This led to her gaining wider fame. The actress is also a renowned performer and has published an extended version of her play. Also, she is an activist who is active to promote LGBT rights.
